Crypt in Colonia Güell Barcellona, continuation of spontaneous nearby woods. La Sagrada Famiglia

The virtual tour gives you the opportunity to visit the crypt from home!
La Colonia Guell is one of the most beautiful architectural recovery of an industrial complex in the late nineteenth century. It is in Spain about 30 km from Barcelona is only 10 minutes from Gavà Mar. This architectural complex includes the former textile mill, residential area and the crypt of the Church inacomplie of Antoni Gaudi. The package was declared by the English State Website inter ê t history and art.
The original textile mill was owned by the family Guell who built it around the village and church workers. Gaudi was summoned to the Church which unfortunately ended and was limited to the construction of the crypt.
The Crypt surprises for its breathtaking beautée and for its simplicity. It is the prototype of the Sagrada Familia it has all the main features. The Crypt in Colonia Guell is Gaudi's last work before his devotion in the design and construction of the Sagrada Familia. Guell Gaudi uses for the urbanization project of a new settlement workers, which would have included housing, services, shops and a Church, the architect contract almost entirely delegated to his assistant and friend Francesco Berenguer in not keeping to him than projecting it of the church building to a height boiseuse the margins of the habitat. Work began in 1908, continued until 1914 and then gradually abated and s'interompts definitively in 1908, leaving only the crypt completed church building. The main feature of this work is the experimental représantée métodologie ideative used by Gaudi to overcome the static implementation of the Gothic church and thus eliminate the buttresses and arches crawling while using structural elements so as to absorb all the cuts.
Starting simple preliminary sketches, Gaudi verifies structural idea, and so plastic, through the construction of a funicular model that has nothing to do with modal usual wood or plaster of traditional architectonics: a series of file suspended from the ceiling from both ends, carrying small bags of sand weight proportional to that will support the structure. "This way to delimit the logical form, born of necessity" says Gaudi necessity dictated by a curve, the funicular, not abstract but geometrically natural. Twenty images among which beautiful photographs of the model funicular and expressive sketches painted in the pictures, remain as witnesses of what would ê be external and internal configuration of the Church. The structures produced by Gaudi in the colonia Güell is a kind of walkway that runs around the central core which is located in the Altar.

Thus the walls and supporting columns are inclined, as geological fragments barely emerged spontaneously and in continuation of the nearby woods.
The Crypt of Colonia Güell is born, grows and develops in line with nature and its mathematical rules, as all those seeking the laws of nature to form new works, collaborating with the Creator; Copiers do not collaborate. " Spiritualisti naturalistic abstraction and obsession converge in the will and the cusps of expressive materials: the materials used are leftovers, burnt, protections glasses are formed by assembly of needles, from textile machinery factory of the Colony. The recovery of the industrial complex has been realized in respect of the original use of workshops which are still used for industrial purposes. It is no longer a large textile factory, but rather small scale and industrial realities.

How To Masterbate Vids For Guys

: The last work of Gaudi

In planning your trip to Barcelona, it will be impossible to ignore the Sagrada Familia . This monument, symbol of Barcelona is present on early pages of almost all city guides. Once in Barcelona, you'll see the Sagrada Familia is part of all: on postcards kiosks, snowballs in souvenir shops or cardboard as a template to build, and of course in true. This church is far from a secret, it is rather a must for anyone visiting Barcelona.

History

Although the Sagrada Familia is known as the masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi, this does was not he who began March 19, 1882 the first stone, but the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar y Lozano, whose projects included a much smaller church which was built later. Once obtained donations needed for construction, the latter began in 1882 under the direction del Villar. Appeared shortly after a disagreement between the architect and the patrons, and in 1883, construction was entrusted to Antoni Gaudi, who was 31 years.
The initial idea was that Church dedicated to the Holy Family is funded exclusively by donations. When Gaudi received a significant anonymous donation, he decided to make the ancient gothic project more monumental and innovative in form and structure.

From 1914 Gaudi decided to devote himself solely to the project of the Sagrada Familia, and he built a small house in the same site, to be always present. On 7 June 1926, when he went to the site he was ousted in a tram and died three days later. whole town is in mourning and put the Pope allowed Gaudi is buried in the crypt of the Sagrada Familia incomplete.
Gaudi had planned for the Church a construction period of 200 years. However, he left no constructive drawing full, because he wanted to tell opinion of future generations.
After his death the architects who continued to work on the monument succeeded.
Construction since then have never stopped, not even during the difficult years of the Civil War, when some were destroyed or lost drawings, plans and plaster models.

Architecture
La Sagrada Familia is composed of five major and three transverse naves forming a Latin cross. The five main ships have a length of 90 feet while cutting measure 60 meters.
The subjects are three sides: the birth of Christ, Christ's Passion and Glory. The first facade described through various details ornamental birth of Christ. The Passion facade looks simple and modern with less detail, but larger statues. The Glory façade is the main facade, though its construction has been completed.

Once completed, construction 18 towers will measure between 90 and 170 meters. These towers are dedicated Apostles, evangelists, Mary and Jesus Christ. The tower of 170 meters should be the tallest tower ever made in a church.
particular, it is anticipated that construction of the Sagrada Familia, funded entirely by donations and by selling tickets, will be completed in 2030.

Visit
course, you do not have to wait 2030 to visit this extraordinary building. We recommend you to visit early in the morning if possible. It is best to arrive before opening time (9.00), as queues formed early.
The first thing you notice on entering the Church, will be the huge scaffolding. Therefore, it will be difficult to imagine the real dimensions of the building.

Looking up you feel very small. The huge beams rise aloft like trees. This impression is probably caused by the trunks that branch at the top of the beams. It is very pleasant to feel surrounded by the warm light that forms when the sun shines through the windows.

It is also possible to visit the towers, for a modest sum of 2.50 € a lift will take you up. It is prohibited to climb on foot. The descent is on foot.
Regarded as you will have only little time for the visit at the top there is little space because new viewers constantly rising and this is the same for the lift. It is important to be there early to avoid long queues, given that most visitors take the elevator immediately after entry.
Before leaving the Sagrada Familia, you must visit the museum. You'll find pictures of early construction, the original drawings of the early days, the Church of plastics and information on architects who have contributed and contribute to its construction.
At any time of day, the work of Gaudi offers an impressive sight.
