In unity and responsibility of all organizations of COSPAR has fought for more than a month to the rising purchasing power for lower prices and reduce inequalities in Reunion. Progress has been torn through mobilizations but they are clearly inadequate.
• On wages: MEDEF not proposing that 1.6 € / day (50 € / month) •
any proposal for the state minimum social pensions and student grants.
• Local authorities should support a salary increase for its staff
(Commons, General Council, Regional Council)
• On money: COSPAR request a price decrease of 20% on 500 products. Only 40 products are available (cons 127 products in early trading!) For a drop of 5 to 14%. Nevertheless, negotiations continue.
• No agreement has been signed.

In the context of inter-national call Thursday, March 19, COSPAR called Reunion entire population, employees, job seekers, retirees and young people to voice their demands to the government and (x) Employer (s) for:
net increase of 200 € low wages, pensions, minimum benefits and student grants to boost the purchasing power decline by 2
€ extra gas and 4 cents extra fuel
lower than 20% of the 500 products Current consumption;
freeze rents in social housing to minimum in 2009, increase the amount of housing benefit (in pending),
defend private and public employment,
fight against precariousness
